Costs of accommodation and transport of contractors to the workplace borne by the client should be added to their remuneration and taxed. They are subject to PIT on the same basis as revenue from free benefits. Such a conclusion comes from a recent judgment of the Supreme Administrative Court. However, according to experts, this is a questionable issue.

Commentary by Artur Bubrowiecki, a GWW tax advisor to the judgment of the Supreme Administrative Court (II FSK 2724/17), is presented in an article on the website Prawo.pl.

GWW successfully advises the local community in Zieleniec

The Voivode of Lower Silesia accepted the application submitted by GWW and issued a decision on the cancellation of the permit for construction of a 14-story apartment building in Zieleniec, which is being built on one of the nearby slopes. The local community is of the opinion that the investment poses a threat to the environment and water management of the region. We hope that interests of the Zieleniec inhabitants will be taken into account during further proceedings.

The GWW team composed of: Joanna Sebzda-Załuska, attorney, Dorota Chramęga, attorney, Roksana Waltrowska, trainee attorney, and Marta Banasiak, trainee attorney, has been representing the group of the Zieleniec inhabitants in this complicated case for over 1.5 years.
