Judicial and arbitration proceedings

The litigation and arbitration practice is one of the longest-established practices in our company As such, we have extensive experience representing our clients before common courts and arbitration courts. We advise clients on the amicable settlement of disputes and take part in negotiations and mediation proceedings.

We represent both Polish and foreign clients in court and arbitration proceedings. These include entities in the telecommunications, railway, energy, construction, or broadly defined manufacturing sectors.

We take an individual approach to each disputed case, agreeing with our clients on the best strategy for them. We also ensure that, when entrusting us with the conduct of litigation, our clients are aware of the risks involved in each dispute and, with our support, aim to minimise them. Our clients have ongoing access to information on the status of pending proceedings and control over the costs of litigation.

What do we participate in most?

The range of litigation cases we handle is very broad. It includes, inter alia, the following types of cases:

• disputes relating to construction contracts
• corporate disputes between partners of companies and partnerships and as a consequence of M&A transactions
• proceedings arising from the commission of torts, including acts of unfair competition, infringements of personal rights or product liability
• trademark, patent, design, and copyright infringement cases
• disputes with collecting societies for the management of copyright and related rights
• insurance disputes
• real estate proceedings

Being familiar with the realities of the proceedings, we support clients in obtaining interim legal protection for the duration of the proceedings and help them to take effective action to enforce the judgments. Together with lawyers from partner law firms, we support clients in proceedings abroad and based on the law of another country.
